Silk Stretched Lampshades

This lighting structure was totally created by Calder Interiors.  We have welding facilities on site so can make any metal frame required to suspend weighted lighting structures. In this example the frame was manufactured and powdercoated in a colour to accentuate the lines of the waisted structure.

Dupion silk has been stretched over the frame,then long life cool light bulbs are suspended into the light structure. A metal diffuser attached by a finial fitting at the bottom keeps it all in place and is able to be disconected for maintanance
